A 3-part Retreat Series on the Topic of Faith
Faith is one of the most foundational topics of the Bible. There is not a story in the Scriptures that does not touch on it, there is not a character in the Bible whose experience did not hinge on it. You would be hard pressed to find a chapter in any one of the four Gospel books in which Jesus does not address it: During his ministy on Earth, Jesus was constantly commenting on the presence or absense of this one trait in the lives of those seeking to follow him. There is an unbelievable amount of emphasis on the topic of faith in the Scriptures, so it follows that as those seeking to live our lives in light of those Scriptures, there should be a great emphasis on this topic in our lives as well. Indeed, the realities of this topic seep into every nook and cranny of our lives. In this 3-part series, written specifically for the retreat enviroment, we use the book of Hebrews as a launching pad to explore what the Bible teaches us about faith.
